Ripple Border (365: Day 11)   Shooting with the FD 50mm1.4 lens again, I love the soft focus on the highlights of the ripples. Interesting things happen with this lens.

Lace Track (365: Day 10)Got an early start on today’s 365. Just trying out my lens, and saw a cool pattern. I’ll still carry around my camera today— who knows, I might see something cool.

Quiet Friday (365: Day 9) Not much going on tonight. On the way home I stopped to take a photo, but I wasn’t too impressed with what I got, so I walked around and got this right before my battery died. I like the soft focus and ethereal bokeh that I get with my Canon FD-mount 50mm f/1.4 lens. At full-open it is a lot softer and almost impossible to get sharp focus, but the bokeh is fantastic. I’m going to use this lens in more portraits soon.

Unbelievable Light (365: Day 8) Got an earlier start today. I was checking out this plant yesterday too, but I didn’t get a shot I liked. Actually, I didn’t really like this shot until I saw it on the computer, but I really like how the colors and the light came out— its perfect for this hot winter day.
